The Thun section of the Schuylkill River Trail provides views of the Schuylkill River, and nearby farmlands and wooded areas. Located in the Schuylkill River National Heritage Area and the federally designated Highlands Region. Nearby recreation resources are Union Meadows Park, French Creek State Park and the Big Woods Trail.
