Located along a meandering section of the Schuylkill River within the Schuylkill River National Heritage Area and the federally-designated Highlands region, this area provides views of the river and riverbanks of Montgomery County. Conserved land includes nearby parcels owned by East Vincent Township and state game lands in Montgomery County. The historic Pennhurst Asylum is also located here.
